No apologies but the coast/beach in winter can be the most invigorating place to be. And at dusk you can be in for a treat with great gnarly weather, a mixture of cloud and light. You can see the horizon punctuated with distant lights.
A kneeling WRAF officer in period clothes gazes at the spectators during the Battle of Britain airshow at Imperial War Museum Duxford with a line of assorted Spifires on right ready to take flight. Their pilots are the in distance in their period uniform. And here's the thing, these planes were flown in from all over the country by ther owners for the day and they flew them home at the end. Forget arriving in a supercar - flying in and out in your own Spitfire now that's panache!
